We currently have an exceptional opportunity for an Field Engineer- Entry Level for Teton Industrial Construction, A PCL Company, based in Atlanta, GA and assigned to construction projects in the U.S. Position Requirements: This position requires a BS. Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Building / Construction Engineering. Responsibilities of the Field Engineer a?? Entry Level include: Providing support to construction and engineering personnel by performing routine construction engineering assignments for the design, construction, testing, start-up and handover of projects. Assisting with reviewing drawings for constructability and providing interpretation to craft and/or installation Subcontractors. Monitoring construction activities to ensure quality, project schedule adherence and compliance with drawings, specifications and codes through regular inspections. Performing quantity takeoffs and assisting with the preparation of material requisition orders. On a daily basis carrying out site visits in order to assist in producing daily reports of the works and/or Subcontractors activities. Coordinating input to the schedule and progress database used for monitoring project execution as well as monitoring cost versus budget performance. Maintaining the highest level of safety awareness and ensures all tasks are completed to the highest safety standards.
