Position Description: The Transportation Supply Manager will define, implement and manage all aspects of category management in logistics related commodities working closely with the Customer Supply Chain team. This includes: managing costs, driving savings initiatives, implementing a sourcing strategy, overseeing operational activities, managing adherence to contracts, and developing supplier scorecards. This role is the first level of management in assessing issues and meeting day-to-day customer and stakeholder procurement needs. Responsibilities will include: *Inbound freight - unbundling costs & running the RFP process through cross-functional teams. *Integrate processes and help decide what tools(s) to use for for the procurement events. *Supporting & assisting in implementing logistics strategy *Transportation consolidation *3rd Party Payment Provider Opportunities. *Warehousing consolidation initiatives. *Leveraging initiatives across MillerCoors Enterprise *Contract support and compliance *Supplier Score Carding Qualifications: Education: Minimum of a Bachelors' degree in finance or operations. MBA preferred Experience: Minimum of 7 years of procurement experience. Transportation procurement and knowledge of Materials Handling Equipment, Warehouse operations, and contract compliance a must. Anticipates and responds to business opportunities and emerging trends based on changing market and competitive environment Optimizes sourcing/purchasing strategies and quantifies impact on people, process and technology Applies knowledge, tools and processes to benefit and improve supply management Understands and applies some basic continuous improvement methodologies or tools in daily job Works with a mid-term perspective in addressing stakeholder's goals to deliver corresponding benefits and improve stakeholder
