Position Description: IT Supply Manager will define, implement and manage all aspects of category management in IT-related commodities by working closely with the IT organization. This includes: leading cost-saving initiatives, implementing courcing strategies, assisting functional groups with sourcing projects, overseeing operational activities, ensuring adherence to contracts, and developing supplier scorecards. This role is the first level of management in assessing issues and meeting day-to-day customer and stakeholder procurement needs. Qualifications: Education: Minimum of a Bachelors' degree in finance or operations. MBA preferred Experience: Minimum of 7 years of procurement experience. IT background or IT procurement experience a must. Anticipates and responds to business opportunities and emerging trends based on changing market and competitive environment Optimizes sourcing/purchasing strategies and quantifies impact on people, process and technology Applies knowledge, tools and processes to benefit and improve supply management Understands and applies some basic continuous improvement methodologies or tools in daily job Works with a mid-term perspective in addressing stakeholder's goals to deliver corresponding benefits and improve stakeholder
