As a Business Analyst for McGraw-Hill Learning Solutions, you will help our Learning Solutions Managers create innovative learning solutions through the application of new technology, and follow the project from idea generation to final deployment. Work with our Product Managers to find internal processes that may be applied to the current project, as well as create contracts in conjunction with the Product Development Director. Coordinate with the Editorial staff to obtain pertinent content, secure permissions for customized content, as well as generate new ideas for upcoming products. Because of the nature of this position, you will have direct access to our Learning Solutions Managers. Create the P/L, craft the Letter of Intent, and develop final contract. This individual must have a BA in either Business/Information Systems/CS. 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred. Project/Product management experience - this enables the individual to manage the products from beginning to end, and manage necessary resources Sales Experience - this aids the individual in understand the business aspects of each project Self-Starter - this characteristic helps the individual move projects forward with little or no supervision Passion for emerging technologies - this will aid the individual in understanding new trends in the industry Understanding of Information Systems - this will enable the individual to consult with the client in explaining the ideal solution based on technical and functional feasibility Sharp Business Acumen - this skill will allow the individual to determine project feasibility within the confines of business goals and sales targets.
