McGraw-Hill Professional has an exciting opportunity for a Vice President of Global Digital Sales based in New York City. The Vice President/Global Digital Sales will be responsible for defining and executing the global digital sales strategy for McGraw-Hill Professional. As a key member of the Professional Global Leadership Team, this position will manage Professional's global sales teams and distributors throughout the world and will direct the growth of Professional's digital subscription, digital services, rights, translation, licensing, print-on-demand, pharma, and discoverability businesses in the U.S. as well as internationally. The position will also be responsible for setting the strategic direction with key third-party partners, establishing sustainable business opportunities for digital expansion for Professional's vertical segments, and influence new product development of our digital products and services. Essential Accountabilities: Direct and manage sales of all MHP products and services in digital medial globally. Set the overall global digital sales strategy. Oversee the day-to-day functioning of staff as well as focus on managing the execution of the medium range business plan. Manage the execution of sales of all MHP digital product and content through existing and new digital channels, such as databases, ebooks, POD, etc. Develop global expansion plans by identifying new distributors, establishing MHP sales teams, and setting up key partnerships around the world. Participate as an active leader in business and product development activities. As a member of the senior management team, define product portfolio and pricing and promotion plans for global customers. Manage global P&L of MHP digital business. Executive level global publishing sales experience both locally and internationally. Proven history of success in sales management. Knowledge of book publishing industry/market is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to participate in developing and implementing comprehensive sales plans. Strong leader and capable of managing a diverse workforce.
