Our Client is in need of an Air Quality-Stack Sampling Team Leader for their office located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role will serve as a leader and trusted advisor to clients seeking assistance in the Stack Sampling and Stack Test equipment preparation functions. Our client is an infrastructure and environmental engineering firm, skilled at designing and constructing in the built and natural environment. Their services are grounded in the understanding of the complex interaction between the earth materials and the facilities we humans construct on and with the earth. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

* 5 to 7 years of Stack Sampling experience
* AS or BS degree in an appropriate discipline
* Experience with report preparation
* Familiarity with setting up and using Air Test equipment
* Experience with Microsoft Office


KEY SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

* Experience performing air pollution field sampling tests on smoke stacks as well as field sampling experience
* Experience in logging air quality data
* Experience using instrumentation for Stack Testing
* Solid understanding of Air Quality Engineering
* Should be familiar with the development and preparation of engineering documents and specifications
* Organized with a high level of verbal and written communication skills.
* Exceptional drive to develop and expand professional capabilities and committed to continuous improvement of systems and processes for self and others
* Experience with staff supervision, providing technical guidance, and mentoring of engineering and technical staff
* Possess the ability to work independently, and coordinate with management, peers, and subordinates to achieve team and office goals
* Possess strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to effectively interact with clients, staff and other internal and external team members
* Maintain proficient computer skills and project management functions.
