Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial Collections - Practice Management Office

Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm

This facility is looking for a candidate who has most recently worked in a medical collections role only. Must have working knowledge of claims, appeals, explanation of benefits. This positions is a straight collections position that requires a high amount of money collected. Prime candidate will be goal oriented, money motivated, have the ability to work independently and at a very fast pace. Must be able to explain prior success of collections in dollar amounts with a time period to go with it. Candidate will know the importance of the number of accounts needed to be called on a daily basis. Certification preferred, but not required. Positive attitude, professional demeanor and a can-do attitude are a MUST! MUST HAVE A CLEAR BACKGROUND - BACKGROUND CHECKS WILL BE PERFORMED.

Needed to fill positions with several high-profile, up-scale medical facilities within the Houston and surrounding areas. A minimum of 3-5 years required with excellent previous tenure a MUST! Knowledge of billing, collections, coding, CPT/ICD9 codes, Medicare, Medicaid, EOB's, electronic posting, third party insurance, commercial collections and customer service required. Certifications are a plus. Must have a positive attitude, flexibility and a professional appearance. Need not apply without the above requirements.
