Now wouldn't you like to be a part of that? Engineering Position Duties: Manufacturing Engineering Provides support and basic trouble shooting for current operations. Establishes routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs. Identifies and implements cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas. Develops and implements plans to support lean manufacturing scope. Designs operations layouts to improve material flow and material presentation. Implements new manufacturing processes and technology. Product Engineering Produces and evaluates possible design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications together with possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel. Compiles and furnishes necessary information (engineering decisions and reports of pertinent design analyses data) to document the design solution required for building of prototypes and adoption of the design with possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel. Learns and applies Company engineering policies and practices; learns Company products. Executes test or analysis plan for product verification and validation. QUALIFICATIONS Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Ag Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical degree. Desired cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Minimum cumulative GPA required of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale. Knowledge of drawing and schematic interpretation, product models, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, safety, ergonomics, tooling, tool design and layout of facilities. Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
