We are also a leading provider of reference and trade publishing for the medical, business, engineering and other professions.   The McGraw Hill Learning Group (MHLG), a division of McGraw-Hill Education, has an opening for an Inside Sales Representative in Alpharetta, GA. This position will be responsible for promoting and selling a wide variety of instructional materials to designated schools within the assigned sales territory.   Responsibilities: Generate incremental revenue in an assigned territory by presenting and selling MHLG supplemental products over the phone and via email. Effectively plan and execute a territory call plan including targeted outbound calls, specific direct marketing campaigns, and collaborative selling efforts with field sales representatives. Display deep knowledge of product lines and broad knowledge of market trends and educational funding in order to empathize with customer and create solutions to close sales. Maintain excellent customer relations by providing timely follow up and appropriate contact after the sale in order to ensure on-going customer satisfaction and provide resolution for all customer issues. Occasional travel to regional meetings, trade shows and conferences in support of assigned products.     Required: Minimum 1 year selling experience and/or knowledgeable in the education market. Knowledge of Microsoft office products (Outlook, Word, Excel). Ability to persuade and influence others. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong time and management skills. Personal attributes must include assertiveness, high energy level, resiliency, and TEAM player. Desired: Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 year of sales and/or teaching experience. Knowledge of Salesforce.
