Sales Representative New York/New Jersey Area

PES has worked with thousands of building owners to generate over $100 million in energy cost savings by installing energy-efficient technologies to improve workplace productivity, aesthetics and facility value. PES is currently managing large scale energy efficiency programs in the NYC and Westchester County areas and is seeking qualified and highly motivated sales professionals.

As one of our Representatives, you will market, prospect and close energy efficiency projects for customers in NYC. Our sales representatives are expected to understand the technical and financial aspects of the various types of energy efficiency projects and programs and clearly communicate the features and benefits to the customer, prepare initial facility scoping audits and preparation of and execution of sales contracts. Our sales representatives maintain the relationship and manage the customer process through project completion. The Sales Representative must be goal/performance oriented and consistently meet sales quotas.

Qualifications:

* 5+ years experience in direct business to business mechanical or electrical product and/or service sales (Lighting or HVAC industry experience a plus)

* High School diploma; Associate's degree or higher in related field preferred

* Knowledge of New Jersey and New York commercial, industrial and multi-family markets

* Knowledge of and experience in lighting, HVAC, mechanical strongly desired

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Experience in conducting audits and inspections desired

* Excellent computer skills

* Proactive attitude and strong organizational skills

* Physical capability to perform all the duties of the position
