Location: Toledo OH IT Data Warehouse Architect
My client has been a Fortune 500 company for the past 54 years. Founded in 1938 they have a global presence today that spans 26 countries.
This is a full time position with great benefits.   The selected candidate will be and individual Contributor.
This person needs to be at a Can Do level vs. a Can Teach level. This is a higher level role!
We are seeking someone who can Design the Process!
Primary Responsibilities:
This position will require direct experience in Architecture. The selected candidate will be responsible for , Planning and Implementation of end ? to end Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence systems:   Utilizing best practices from Data Architecture, Data Integration and Data Management areas.
The selected candidate must have Global implementation experience. (defining the road map of   software implementations ) The selected candidate will be able to direct and prioritize the work of vendors who are both on and off site.
This position will require the selected candidate to have;
3+ years of SAP BW/BI experience is required to be successful in this position.   This person will have experience   integrating within finance and supply change and customer/sales (SAP BW/BI certification preferred).
10 + years of experience in IT with a broad range of exposure to all aspects of business planning, systems analysis, and application development.
Leadership experience with multiple implementations of end to end data warehouse solutions in global environment is required.
Architect, design, and implementation experience (prefer global environment ? dealing with multiple currencies, multiple languages, etc).
Implementation experience includes: designing Data Warehouse along with the Architecture. Work with the business users to understand requirements they need from BI then translate those to technical requirements within BI.   The position will be both gathering of information from various business units and transferring to technical requirements. ( communication and strong technical skills required)
BI world developing software from the ground up vs. configuring existing programs.     The selected candidate will not expected to configure the modules ( this is the job of functional team).   However, He/she will need to understand the reports needed from business units and translate that to technical terms.
This person will manage a project team and must be able to delegate tasks
This person should be comfortable implementing their own design and architecture
Knowledge of SAP Business Object Enterprise, SAP PI and Portal is preferred
Exposure to IBM Information Server (DataStage, QualityStage) is preferred
Peoplesoft from the data warehouse prospective
  Must-have Qualifications: Global Implementation experience
SAP BW/BI with IBM tool for data stage 
Strategic Design experience from the ground up Preferred Qualifications: SAP PI and Portal  experience
