Click Here to Apply Online Responsible for the maintenance, update and support of HSN's desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals (Hardware and Software). Responsibilities: Responds to escalated tickets or requests for service that are generated through the help desk or immediate supervisor that require an expert level of troubleshooting and planning. Plans and works on a variety of projects including: Workstation operating system security patching, additions to equipment, addition of users, group moves within the company, and deletions of equipment and users. Participates in architecting, implementing and managing desktop solutions. Minimum Requirements: MCSA certification. Excellent understanding of the Microsoft Windows family and Intel-based desktop platforms. Good working knowledge of Microsoft SMS for deployment of security patches to workstations. 3-5 years of technical support experience in 24/7 corporate environment. Expert understanding of hardware, software and operating systems plus thorough knowledge of current and emerging hardware/software technologies and industry trends. Excellent documentation and oral communication skills. Highly self motivated and directed. Strong customer service orientation. Ability to lift at least 35 lbs. repeatedly in a given day. Preferred Requirements: MCSE certification. HP/Compaq hardware certified. BS degree in Computer Information Systems or similar. Schedule: M-F, 8AM to 5PM with 24/7 pager duty
