Higher Education has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative in our Science, Engineering and Math (SEM) Group . This position works out of a home office based out of the Charlotte, NC area and is responsible for a regional territory. Sales Representatives are responsible for: Growing business and maximizing sales of content solutions (digital assets, custom solutions, and text books) to colleges, universities, and community colleges throughout assigned territory Developing strong relationships with faculty and administrators Identifying new product acquisition opportunities, both print and digital Working with the Editorial and Marketing departments to leverage products and develop new sales tools. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Sales experience required - outside sales experience preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, must be technology savvy Strong communication skills, superior work ethic and the ability to foster client relationships Must be enthusiastic, ambitious, highly motivated and well organized 30% overnight travel required (company car provided) Reports to : Regional Sales Manager Compensation includes base salary, performance-based incentive bonus, full benefits, and a company car.
