The Manager, Clinical Research will be responsible for managing clinical staff and for the planning and execution of all elements of the company's clinical trials   This role is with a stable and growing medical device corporation with a diverse product portfolio, including several successful commercial products and an emerging line of implantables and drug-device combination products.
Responsibilities:
Prepare all project plans for Clinical Trials
Hire, train, and develop clinical research staff
Develop protocols and case report forms
Negotiate agreements with CROs, labs, and investigator sites
Initiate and manage studies; sites, personnel and data oversight, while maintaining protocol and regulatory compliance.
Responsible for budgeting / financial dilligence, reporting, and developing procedures to streamline and improve a growing clinical department.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in lifesciences, engineering, or related
5+ years broad Senior CRA or Clinical Project Manager experience, including the management of CROs
5+ years of complex medical device clinical trial and regulatory experience, ideally in IDE submissions
2+ years proven experience managing direct reports, or demonstrated ability to become a successful manager
Ability for some required travel
