The General Manager will be responsible for driving revenue through a team of dedicated sales reps to develop new relationships and nurture existing relationships. The position is highly focused on revenue development but requires a variety of skills, including the ability to multitask and to quickly adjust priorities based on client demands.
 
Responsibilities:

Provide direction and supervision to internal departments and sales staff regarding company procedures.   Hire and provide performance reviews for all staff.   Manage staff to ensure they are productive and working towards client satisfaction.
Leads, motivates and counsels the sales team, setting aggressive sales goals to achieve quota levels and exceed budgeted sales revenue.
Interacts with sales executives to plan, coach, advise, and review their progress in achieving individual and team revenue target goals-- Focusing on creating a team environment that promotes consultative selling.
Actively participates on sales calls with sales executives, spends time in the field, observe market trends, and evaluate the skill set of sales executives.
Evaluate internal staff and individual sales revenue performance monthly and provide reports to the Regional Sales Manager for reviews.
Wo rk closely with court reporter liasons to keep abreast of reporter issues. Perform regular Q and A on reporters' product; i.e. proofng for accurancy and timeliness. Frequently interact with clients and court reporters to maintain client relations and ensure all needs are being met.
Frequently interact with corporate management and other peer General Managers regarding operations and business activities.   Attend meetings as requested.
Works with Clients and internal staff to resolve customer issues and complaints.
Oversees and manages all operations of the office.
Provide direction to all departments and employees to create a productive and efficient work force with the goal being client satisfaction and financial profitability.  

 
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience,
10+ years experience general management experience,
Legal services industry experience a plus,
Good analytical skills,
Good verbal and written skills,
Experience in corporate setting combined with solid business acumen, Innovative, proactive, and self directed.
