Reporting to the EVP of Sales and Business Development, the Head of Ecommerce will provide strategic leadership in driving the ecommerce efforts of DISH Network, with a primary focus on driving traffic to our multi-lingual site.  In this new role, you will be responsible for: 

Developing and implementing a best in class ecommerce strategy and infrastructure that drives an ever growing number of on-line transactions.
Developing a comprehensive short and long term strategy to drive incremental business growth while enhancing current and new customer experiences.
Aligning the ecommerce strategy with current strategies and continually seek opportunities to enhance business strategies by using tactics such as CRM, web content, sponsorship and partnership with 3 rd party websites, online advertising, Search, customer experience.
Understanding online customer behaviors and preferences both from an information and transaction perspective.
Establishing appropriate ROI metrics across tactics to guide investment.
Ensuring that market trends and developments, as well as competitor actions in the space are tracked and understood.
Working closely with technology and operation teams to ensure effective information and transaction architecture take into consideration internal and external systems environment, including CRM, to optimize customer interactions across all functions.
Driving customer and user satisfaction through the design of an easy to use interface and intuitive navigation path that enable users to find what they need quickly and efficiently, thus optimizing the customer experience, resulting in more time spent, increased leads, transactions and return visits.
Provide expertise in new and emerging digital technologies that can drive a competitive advantage for DISH Network.

 To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

A Bachelor's degree and 10+ years online experience, 4+ years of that demonstrated experience in running a profitable transaction driven B2C site is required.
Strong technical expertise in web-based technologies, and proven experience in leveraging these technologies to drive revenue and traffic.
Strong experience with internet marketing, affiliate and email programs.
Understanding and experience with website analytics, SEO, SEM and CRM
Direct experience with recapturing exit traffic, increasing order size, and improving time on sites.
Ability to drive key business initiatives.
Solid online sales and marketing knowledge.
Excellent project management, relationship building, negotiation and consultative skills.
