We are also a leading provider of reference and trade publishing for the medical, business, engineering and other professions.    McGraw-Hill Higher Education, (MHHE) is a leading provider of print and electronic materials serving the college market, publishing instructional materials including textbooks, lab manuals, study guides, testing materials, software, and multimedia products.   Our Learning Solutions division is looking for a Web Applications Guru - Business Analyst for our Indianapolis, IN location .   As a Business Analyst for McGraw-Hill Learning Solutions, you will help our Learning Solutions Managers create innovative learning solutions through the application of new technology, and follow the project from idea generation to final deployment.    Responsibilities: Work with our Product Managers to find internal processes that may be applied to the current project, as well as create contracts in conjunction with the Product Development Director.  Coordinate with the Editorial staff to obtain pertinent content, secure permissions for customized content, as well as generate new ideas for upcoming products.  Create the P/L, craft the Letter of Intent, and develop final contract.   Requirements   2-3 years of relevant experience preferred. Bachelor's Degree in either Business/Information Systems or Computer Science Passion for emerging technologies - this will aid the individual in understanding new trends in the industry Understanding of Information Systems - this will enable the individual to consult with the client in explaining the ideal solution based on technical and functional feasibility Self-Starter - this characteristic helps the individual move projects forward with little or no supervision Sharp Business Acumen - this skill will allow the individual to determine project feasibility within the confines of business goals and sales targets. Project/Product management experience  - this enables the individual to manage the products from beginning to end, and manage necessary resources Sales Experience - this aids the individual in understand the business aspects of each project .
