Job Description We are seeking a Technician to provide exceptional service, support, repair and installation of telephones and other communication systems on the property of the Company's current clients. Successful candidates must have excellent communication skills with the ability to analyze, develop and implement solutions. Compensation includes salary, performance based incentives, and benefits.
Primary Responsibilities * Maintain and administer telephony networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations. * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary. * Analyze customer needs and properly install equipment based on assessment. * Install analog and digital voice and data telecommunications equipment including, VOIP systems, PBX systems, key systems, and peripherals. * Repair or replace faulty equipment such as defective and damaged telephones, cabling, system cards, circuit packs and associated equipment. * Effectively communicate needs and solutions with customers. * Ensures front line customer satisfaction by dealing professionally and effectively with internal and external customers.
Qualifications * 1 plus years of experience in a similar position working with telephone, networks and cabling installation and support. * Excellent data and network knowledge with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly resolve complex issues. * A professional presence and outstanding customer service skills. * Working knowledge of the installation, implementation and maintenance of telecom equipment, voice and video teleconferencing equipment. * Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse customer, colleague, and vendor population. This includes listening and problem solving skills.
