Shift: Day/Evening Rotation Hours: varies, 8am -8pm Job Details: - Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT)
Physical Therapist Outpatient Coordinator  
Located in Westlake and Lakewood YMCA Outpatient Centers of Lakewood Hospital .
 
Responsible for patient care and day to day operations of 2 dynamic outpatient clinics.  A variety of patient diagnoses from orthopedic to neurological.  Opportunities for program development.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
  The Physical Therapy Coordinator supervises all inpatient physical therapy operations, maintaining the general efficiency of the department and working with the Director and Manager coordinates business development. In addition to supervisory duties, the Coordinator will also be responsible to maintain an appropriate patient load as assigned to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics as needed.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
           
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be a  Bachelors or Master's level graduate from an accredited college or university for Physical Therapy.          

Required Length and Type of Experience:

At least four years of clinical and one year of supervisory experience required.

Required Licensure, Certification or Registry:

Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board
BLS Required

Required Physical and Environmental Demands:
·         Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time; must lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to assist with positioning and transporting patients, i.e., pushing beds, carts, and wheelchairs. Requires the ability to maneuver equipment and motor coordination to operate equipment
