Physical Therapy Assistant
 
Schedule: Weekend + 1 Day
 
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Practices physical therapy under the laws and rules of OT/PT/AT Licensure Board.  Implements physical therapy services for patients as appropriate to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, including treatment and documentation; demonstrates safe and professional behavior as dictated by hospital and departmental policies; provides education on physical therapy related subjects to patients, families, hospital personnel, and the community.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Required Licensure, Certification, or Registry

Associate level graduate from an accredited college or university for physical therapy assistant
Licensed by Physical Therapy Section of the OT/PT/AT Board
