This analyst position in Personal Lines Product R&D will be responsible for the development and support of auto insurance rating models, researching new ideas to improve our product offerings, conducting project work, and performing ad hoc analysis. Tasks include developing project plans, retrieving data from various sources and preparing data for analysis, developing and creating basic level programs using SAS and/or SQL, executing, reviewing, and discussing analysis with other co-workers and managers. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree necessary, advanced degree preferred, with an emphasis in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or Quantitative Research. - Understanding and application of regression analysis - Related work experience in an analytical capacity - Basic to intermediate SAS and SQL programming skills - Solid communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong critical thinking and problem resolution skills - Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively - Strong preference for candidates located in Northeast Ohio
