Fantastic! Our team will deliver the Microsoft location cloud services that will enable a broad range of Microsoft and 3rd party location based services. These V1 services will need to scale, be extensible, be flexible, be robust and be constructed with a relentless and tireless focus on engineering excellence. Successful candidates will have: *Experience designing and implementing scalable distributed services or experience designing and implementing large scale server applications. *Hands on experience applying SCRUM and Test Driven Development required. *Solid experience designing and implementing applications written using C#/C++, .Net, ASP.NET, SOAP Web Services, WCF, Webstore and SQL Server. *Excellent and pragmatic independent judgement, strong communication skills and the ability to approach problems from the customer's perspective. *Strong cross group collaboration skills. *Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience is required; 8+ years of software development experience required including multiple full ship cycles. *Experience with geographic information services (GIS), GPS technology, spatial data representations is a huge plus. *Experience developing hosted SOA based server solutions is a huge plus.
