Corporate Information Management oversees the operations of the Corporation's technology infrastructure, ensures the security of its data and its computing environment, information architecture, and establishes and promotes company-wide best practices in the development, management and support of the Corporation's application portfolio. The Enterprise Client Engineering department is responsible for the design and implementation of all client supporting technologies and back end infrastructures that enable the end users globally. The team provides client side hardware and software component standards, defines processes, publishes technical documentation and serves as 3 rd level production support. The team also manages enterprise software and security updates and is the corporate liaison with software manufacturers for the related technologies. As an associate of the enterprise client engineering team, the selected individual will be responsible for testing, documenting and troubleshooting with senior level engineers the resolution of any uncovered issues in preparation for the enterprise release(s) of supported technologies. This includes, but is not limited to, client base operating system updates, new security and system patches released via Windows System Update Services, application updates via Systems Management Server, rapid release definition files via Symantec's Anti-Virus Live Update and Active Directory Group Policy Updates. Additional opportunities include access to the Hightstown, NJ advanced integration lab with participation in several proof of concept projects including Systems Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft's Desktop Optimization Pack and VMWare ESX technologies. A? Experience with desktop operating systems required A? Experience with the installation of applications, plug-ins and system and security updates A? Experience with server operating systems desired but not required A? Basic understanding of networking technologies and concepts A? Full-time, undergraduate student possessing a GPA of 3.0 or higher A? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
