For Day shift and PM shift BB positions:
Applicant should have at least 1-2 years of full time Blood Bank experience.
Hospital of equal or greater size
Experience with Antibody Identification, Neonatal transfusions, Rhogam evaluations
Preferred use of gel technology
Trauma experience helpful
Misys or Sunquest computer experience helpful

This position is accountable to perform laboratory procedures and evaluations in order to assist physicians in diagnosis and to provide quality patient care.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science with a degree in Medical Technology.

2. ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist required or eligible or NCA certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist required or eligible.
