McGraw-Hill Education addresses virtually every aspect of the education market from pre-K through professional learning. Our technical innovations are changing the way people learn, with e-books, online tutoring, customized course Web sites and subscription services.  Now is the time to team up with our dynamic company as we create our next generation of who we need to be for our customers!    We are currently recruiting for outstanding internship opportunities that will be based at our facility in Monterey, CA.  An internship at CTB means working on meaningful projects in your field of interest.  Opportunities are available in various disciplines, including Research, Operations, Project Management, Technology, Human Resources, Programs, Product Development, Sales, Finance, and Marketing.   We have an excellent opportunity in our Customer Service department at our Monterey, CA facility.   SUMMARY OF PROJECT(S):   You will work under the supervision of the Operations Analyst to develop a strategy and implementation plan to capture 'customer satisfaction and quality metrics' in addition to statistical metrics currently being captured.   MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: Review existing data to determine if current metrics can be used to meet the objective of capturing 'customer satisfaction and quality' versus existing statistical metrics. Identify additional data gathering requirements which would capture 'customer satisfaction and quality.' Develop plan to implement data capture and data presentation of information. Implement plan and report findings.   OBJECTIVE(S):   Develop customer satisfaction and quality metrics. Strong analytical, accounting, and organizational skills Familiar with technology and how to extract data Ability to diagnosis and present resolutions and recommendations from data analysis Good listening skills and ability to communicate effectively with various audiences Ability of multi-task and meet tight deadlines ADDITIONAL SKILLS (Computer/Technical, Languages, etc.):   Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point DURATION: June 15, 2009 through July 31, 2009 (seven weeks). LOCATION: Internship project will be at CTB's office in Monterey, California. COMPENSATION:   Hourly wage, housing, transportation and meal plan.
