We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Director, International Research and Development. Here's what you will get to do: In this role you will provide research and development leadership to the department and to the company in pursuing, obtaining, and conducting projects in the international educational assessment market. Managing a team of R&D staff you will contribute to responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), formulation of unsolicited proposals, and strategic product development. You will also oversee the design of high-level processes and tools for the management and implementation of international contracts, especially where differences in expectations call for R&D innovation or outsourcing of functions. Here is what YOU will need to be successful: Doctoral degree in educational measurement, psychometrics, research methods, or a related field. 5+ years experience in managing research aspects of large-scale contracts, preferably in international contexts. Demonstrated experience and success in translating international assessment opportunities into contracts. Extensive knowledge of educational measurement and ability to independently solve technical problems. Proven ability to contribute sound judgment and creative ideas to product and contract designs. Outstanding communication skills. Experience working with international clients in ministries of education and national assessment units desirable. For more information, visit www.ctb.com .
