Location: Hampton, VA  A local  government contractor involved with R & D, is seeking to hire an experienced Accounting Department Head to manage their accounting and finance function. 
 Specific duties include DCAA auditing, interfacing with CPAs, annual cost proposals, A/P, A/R, payroll, workers comp, and regular journal ledger accounting and monthly closing statements.
Individuals must have a BS in Accounting plus 5-10 years of governmental accounting experience.  Prefer experience in DCAA audits and must be highly skilled in the use of Deltek accounting systems.
The position is available immediately and will supervise a small staff.  Prefer local candidates in the Hampton Roads area.
