Description - Provides leadership and operational management for IT projects. Directs, develops, and implements strategies to institutionalize a consistent and effective project management methodology and control technique for IT projects. Responsible for directly IT staff that leads, plans, and manages multiple complex projects consisting of one or more project teams. Works with functional leaders to ensure project plans and results achieve corporate objectives. Requires change management skills to integrate various project management methodologies currently in place. Establishes metrics that determines the quality and performance of the project management methodology and control technique. Negotiates with outside project management vendors as required. Develops strategic business plans and goals for a large functional unit(s). Work is performed without appreciable direction. Identifies complex business needs and develops cutting edge solutions that require full integration of the company’s strategies. Typically requires 10+ years experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Work Conditions - Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management

Required Skills - Ability to provide thought leadership and program/project management in the Product Management domain. Excellent leadership capabilities. Strong communication skills at both executive and project team levels. Knowledge of Product development and product readiness processes including Product Lifecycle Management, Product Data Management, Product & Pricing Configuration, Product Marketing, Product R&D.

Desired Skills - Experience with PLM/PDM tools, Product Configuration tools, previous Supervisory experience.
