Comcast Interactive Media Data Services provides the content that powers Comcast’s web properties.   The group is responsible for the databases that contain this data as well as the software that populates them and the SOA web services that expose the content.   The team is looking for a Build / Release Manager to help formalize our tools and processes for building and installing software systems.

Responsibilities :
 
·          Deploy and manage tools to automate the build, test, and release process across multiple development teams in a Continuous Integration environment.
·          Enable development teams to perform scheduled and on-demand builds and automated test runs.
·          Administer the source control system, develop revision control policies, and coordinate with development teams on source code organization.
·          Create and maintain installers for components and applications that are distributed to customers and development partners.
 
Requirements :
 
·          Minimum 4 years of Build/Release Engineering experience with commercially available products.
·          Experience with SVN, Hudson, Maven.
·          Experience with scripting languages for the purpose of automation.
·          Experience using installer tools to create complex installers for Java applications.
·          BS Computer Science or equivalent experience.
