This position is within the team that has accountability for 6 data warehouses within the Data Solutions area of Information Management-IT. The position has primary accountability for defining and managing the scope of Business Systems projects as well as ensuring the allocation of appropriate associates to a particular work effort. The position will also have accountability for coordinating functions for the group including work intake, tracking, prioritization, status updates, etc. A preferred accountability is the capability of functioning in a leadership capacity when the need arises.

Technical Bus Systems Sr. Advisor Description:
Essential duties to include, but are not limited to: Defines functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system. Creates and performs feature testing and determines environmental needs. Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business. Partners with business, architecture and infrastructure and oversees all service levels to ensure business area satisfaction. In depth knowledge of tools utilized . Defines detail design components with high level architecture blueprints. Coordinates integration activities to ensure successful implementation. Ensures effective monitoring of systems. Defines development strategy, standards and support tools. Proactively works with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements. Performs other duties as assigned.

Technical Business Systems Exec Advisor Description:

Skills:
Technical Business Systems Sr. Advisor Qualifications:BA/BS in computer science or information systems or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 8 or more years of systems engineering or systems analysis experience required. BSA, Technical Testing and Tool specific certifications preferred. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. Excellent multitasking, leadership and managerial skills required. Knowledge of a variety of technologies and/or the ability to understand technology dependencies and manage technology integration required. Technical Business Systems Exec Advisor Qualifications:BA/BS in computer science or information systems or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 10 or more years of systems engineering or systems analysis experience required. BSA, Technical Testing and Tool specific certifications preferred. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. Excellent multitasking, leadership and managerial skills required. Knowledge of a variety of technologies and/or the ability to understand technology dependencies and manage technology integration required. Preferred skills:Experience with Six Sigma or process development/improvement methodologies.Familiarity with WellPoint claims processing system preferred.3-5 years experience with existing Information Management Data Warehouse assets.Project Management experience preferred.
