Location: This position may be located at any Wellpoit office, with a possibility to work from home.

This Infrastructure Services Advisor Sr. is responsible for providing second level engineering design function for engineering review of production networks or systems. Specific duties include the following:
* Collaborates with Business and IT system owners in the identification and definition of Configuration Items (CIs), attributes, mappings, process, etc to an Enterprise CMDB.
* Coordinates with Business and IT system owners in creation of use cases and assessment of impact of adding Configuration Items.
* Defines process and procedure related to security, access controls and user privileges within a CMDB and related BSM toolsets. Defines and enforces standards for data elements and data management policy / process / procedures for CMDB Configuration Items in an ITIL based framework.
* Provides support for management and evaluation of new products, enhancements, upgrades and patches.
* Serves as primary contact with vendors for managing implementation, upgrade and support issues for CMDB and related toolsets. Conducts, coordinates and directs daily operational support tasks for CMDB and related BSM tools.

Skills:
This position requires BA/BS degree and 8 years experience in information systems, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management; significant experience with multiple technical and business disciplines, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Incumbent should also have expert knowledge of and expertise in at least one core infrastructure technology; can utilize this knowledge in strategic decisions and demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring skills.Significant expertise and/or working knowledge with the following toolsets and disciplines is highly desirable:* BMC Atrium CMDB* Enterprise Discovery tools including BMC Marimba, Foundation Discovery and Topology Discovery.* HP ServiceCenter.* Event management toolsets such as Tivoli, CA Unicenter, HPOV, or similar.* System management toolsets such as Bladelogic, SMS, Marimba, Tivoli or similar.* Network Management Tools such as BCAN, Spectrum, HP NNM, or similar.* Scripting, querying, data exchange and reconciliation process / reporting service.* Web Services Integration (SOAP) and Process Automation Technologies.* Business Objects Reporting Services.
