This position is responsible for establishing departmental policies and procedures and providing oversight to 25 enrollment and billing staff. Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
* Audits to monitor efficiency and compliance with policies
* Prepares specialized reports
* May be assigned to special project work consistent with the role and dictated by the needs of the business
* Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills:
* BA/BS or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.* Requires a minimum of 1-2 years in a leadership role in addition to 2-3 years related experience.* Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills required.* Strong analytical and organizational ability required.* Strong PC skills required.* Candidates with Medicare Operations experience are highly desired.WellPoint is ranked as one of America's Most Admired Companies among health insurers by Fortune magazine and is a 2008 DiversityInc magazine Top 50 Company for Diversity
