The Marketing Communications (Marcom) Coordinator will be located in New York City, NY and manages every aspect of the problem-solving process, including overseeing projects through writing, design, proofreading, translation, client review, Product review, Legal review, printing, mailing, archiving, etc. The Marcom Coordinator is also responsible for ensuring connectivity, consistency and standardization for all projects. Responsibilities: Key Marcom contact for all project requests. Facilitates all steps of Marcom project workflow. Conduit between the Traffic. partners and writers, designers and print buyers. Reviews all incoming Marcom project requests for key messages, missing information, etc. and works with business partners (i.e., Marketing Managers) to gather it. Schedules and leads project creative team startup meetings. Creates and negotiates schedules with business partners. Requests source files from other Centers of Creative Excellence and/or agencies. Assists the writers and designers with brainstorming/sketches/concepts, ensures solutions meet the project strategy, leverage key messages, etc. Leads meetings/presentations with business partners. Coordinates proofreading of copy and checks all rounds of changes between the writers and designers and the business partners; coordinates Legal review of projects. Uses the electronic project management tools to update the project status after each step, ensures projects stay on schedule. Works with Traffic Manager on daily status reports for larger projects. Verifies RSVP info, phone number, P.O. boxes, etc. (shared with Marketing Manager). Coordinates all language translations. Ensure that print-on-demand/just-in-time print files are delivered to vendors. Coordinates with the eSolutions team to post of final PDFs to the Marketing Materials & Programs (MM&P) intranet site. Coordinates uploading and removing of files on SharePoint project sites. Archives all project notes, Legal Marketing Review forms, etc. Assists in developing estimates of hours for upcoming projects.

Skills:
BA/BS and 3 years of marketing or advertising or related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience in health care industry preferred. Ability to provide creative input and solutions required. Knowledge of products, programs and corporate wide processes, policies and legal requirements required. Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required. Strong analytical and PC skills required. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and Visio and Access are a plus. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills required.
