As the premier provider of software and services to national not-for-profit organizations, Blackbaud offers a service-bureau implementation of Blackbaud CRM Solutions through our Data Management Services division. This group serves as an extension of an organization's IT or Marketing team in delivering data management services and coordinating all relevant internal and external partners. Blackbaud's Data Management Services division (DMS) provides a full range of services, including segmentation and file pulls, file updates, data hygiene, data overlays, and a wide range of reports, as well as consulting, training, and user support.
As a successful candidate you will use Blackbaud's CRM solutions and SQL to manage individual client data production work orders, assuring that tasks are performed on time and accurately. The Production Control Analyst plays a key role in the use of well-structured rules and procedures to control changes to the data, maintaining data hygiene and prioritizing workloads to maintain high levels of system availability and performance.
The   Production Control Analyst   is responsible for prioritizing and executing the daily, weekly and monthly production schedule.  This includes importing and exporting data files; checking the validity of data files delivered to and received from clients and vendors; facilitating transfer of all files via FTP; diagnosing and troubleshooting data issues related to productions tasks; performing data manipulations using SQL to maintain the data integrity, providing technical support to other members of the client's account management team.
 
Within the Production Services department, the   Production Control Analyst   will assist in the continuing development of department materials and processes.
Responsibilities include:

Manage each client's production workload, assuring that tasks are accurately performed on schedule and according to standards. The production analyst is responsible for executing the daily, weekly and monthly production operations and capturing statistics from each operation for reporting to client, account team and management.
Check the validity of the data files received from and delivered to clients and their vendors using SQL and SQL*loader.
Create and edit layouts for importing and exporting data using the upload procedures, including setting up and testing control files, upload parameters, attributes and vendor codes.
Create and maintain documentation for production procedures.
Create or edit SQL scripts for quality control procedures.
Facilitate transfer of all files to/from the client or their vendors.
Prioritize, set up and monitor schedule processes such as data export, duplicate detection, merge processing, reporting.
Perform ad-hoc data imports and exports, and manipulate data using advanced SQL.
Support account management team members by providing technical support in managing complex segmentation projects.
Manage vendor relationship in regard to facilitation of production processes, file transfers and management of production operations.
Investigate and resolve data issues to troubleshoot problems related to production tasks.
In conjunction with the Account Manager, assist clients in resolving business requirement questions through existing functionality or provide custom technical solutions using SQL and PL/SQL.







Required Experience:  

Preference for SQL experience.
Preference for knowledge of database architecture (Oracle and/or Team Approach a plus) software.
Experience in one or more of the following:

Fundraising experience involving extensive use of fundraising software
Providing software support to users of software
Providing production services for a software application, specifically in a service bureau environment


Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn quickly and self-teach through documentation and on-line resources.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience in managing production jobs in a service bureau environment is a plus.
