Click Here to Apply Online Comcast Interactive Media seeks an experienced executive to lead a new ad-supported business from go to market planning to day to day operations. This role is responsible for the success of the business both through revenue growth and through the establishment of a core asset extension for Comcast Interactive Media’s online consumer brands. The VP ensures the day to day tactical operations of the business are continually operating at a high scale, while also working in the market to ensure this business asset is growing and driving high margin revenue to the table. The role you could play with us: Manage the line of business and the overall business strategy and operational model Lead the identification, recruitment and retention strategy of business partners; ensure successful operational execution of that strategy. Manage large partner deals to build liquidity and establish (or grow) footprint in the core market Establish go to market and sales strategy around the business in conjunction with multiple Comcast organizations. Guide and support the media sales teams in selling advertising in connection with the business Monitor the business strategy against goals and work to continually develop and expand business opportunity Partner with Marketing/PR to develop branding and to launch the business. Plan and execute post-launch marketing and promotional initiatives. Interface with all functional support areas (Sales, Customer service, Ad Operations, Technology, Marketing, Product) within organization to ensure cross-divisional support Your success will be measured based on: Ability to successfully establish partnerships and to grow the business to be at the top of the business’s target market(s). Ensuring that partners adopt standards to drive ad-related revenue for the business. Developing collaborative relationships with the Comcast organizations to drive revenue. Motivate and inspire a team that supports you (but does not report to you) to sell your product. Ability to syndicate Comcast ad-supported content, products and services to partners. Achieving financial goals. Year 1: ($xx of revenue and $yy of Operating Cash Flow). Year 2: ($xx of revenue and $yy of Operating Cash Flow) We are looking for a member of our senior team who has: 7-10 years experience in digital media working in Business Development, Ad Sales and/or executive management 3-5 years experience in advertising-driven and/or content publishing or syndication businesses. Has built one or more ad-supported businesses. Strong knowledge of current and upcoming ad products (display and video), the digital media space and digital ad campaign metrics Knowledge of ad servers (OAS, DFP, Atlas). Management of cross functional resources and teams within a matrixed organization of a major corporation.
