The Learning Solutions team within Higher Education is looking for a Learning Solutions Manager to cover the Northwest. The person should be based in San Francisco or Salt Lake City. Help close adoptions for Career and 2-4 year schools assisting business units make yearly goals. Sell Learning Solutions-based products & strategies at the State and institutional levels. Identify adopter's needs through interviewing, problem solving and technology skills. Strong publishing instincts and awareness of Learning Solution's capabilities will lead to increase in sales. Travel to accounts and demonstrate products to create awareness of Learning Solution's online courses resulting in greater market share. Requirements Bachelor's Degree 3-5 years proven success in higher education sales (strong publishing instincts) Team player Strong presentation skills Knowledge of online technology Ability to close the sale Ability to negotiate contracts and pricing Communicate across departments and business units; coordinating with editorial, marketing, finance and sales to achieve desired goals and plans.
