Participate in UI design meetings and help direct what is technically possible from what is not. Build reusable UI components for game features such as multiplayer, vehicle selection, mission selection, user progress, chat, in game HUD, etc. Help define and implement features of the game that will have a direct impact on the user experience. Help manage contractor(s). This is a great opportunity for someone to learn about many aspects of game development. Qualifications: Strong C++ and Win32 skills. Implemented UI components in a shipped product. Experience with modern UI technology (WPF, Flash, etc.). Ability to architect reusable user interface code that is easy to maintain and extend. Familiarity with DirectX. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred. Self driven Passion for games. Good communication skills.
