The Microsoft Health Solutions team invites you to an exciting career opportunity in improving healthcare around the world. We are looking for an outstanding SDET 2 to drive the quality of an innovative enterprise product called Amalga. Amalga UIS (Unified Intelligence System) aggregates data from hundreds of clinical and administrative systems and provides doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff with instant access to comprehensive information about their patients. Amalga has helped save lives in emergency rooms across the world. The product was acquired by Microsoft in August 2006 and commercially released under the Microsoft banner in April 2008. Amalga is being deployed at several of the country's top tier hospitals and is beginning to gain traction internationally.
The test team is growing rapidly and we are looking for a technically strong and enthusiastic SDET 2 to own the design and automation of high-quality tests for Amalga UIS. You will also be responsible for technical leadership and mentoring team members. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the long-term test strategy and infrastructure, and build a dynamic and scalable test team. You will work in an agile environment with rapidly defined ship cycles as well as custom releases, and a global product team in Washington DC, Redmond and China.

Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of software testing/quality assurance experience, a strong passion for testing, and lead experience. Proficiency in C/C , C#, .NET Framework, web services and SQL experience is critical. Experience in security, performance/scalability, UI, stress testing is a big plus. Experience in healthcare software is a plus but not required. A BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
