Consultant – Drilling Technology Assurance Services
Our consultants make a significant positive impact
every day by delivering Drilling Technology Assurance (DTA) services to our industry-leading customers
such as BP, Diamond Offshore, ExxonMobil, Maersk, Pride, Shell, Stena Drilling, Total, and Transocean.
In this role you will have a high degree of responsibility
working on highly automated drilling rigs around the globe, delivering our unique risk mitigation and problem remediation services
for Rig and Drilling Control Systems. We help our customers drill faster, deeper, safer and at less cost. This is a mission critical part of their business as worldwide demand continues to rise. All of our customers are referenceable. We keep it that way by dedicating the time and attention to bring you into our world
as quickly as possible and by continuing to develop and deliver innovative new services combined with the latest technologies.
Many of our new services are defined and suggested by our consultants.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar
* Minimum five years of experience managing software projects in diverse technical environments
* Experience with multiple software development methodologies
* Strong knowledge of project management tools and techniques for software projects: e.g., project planning, risk management, issue tracking, configuration management, version control.
* Strong writing and technical documentation skills
* Passion for traveling and working on a rotation schedule: 14-28 days offshore or abroad with equal time off upon returning home
Preferred:
* Experience in the consulting profession
* Hands-on software development experience
* PMP Certification
* Software Quality Assurance and testing experience
* Automation/Control Systems experience
* Electrical Engineering experience
* Passport with at least 6 months remaining validity
* Oil & Gas industry experience, especially upstream and/or offshore
