Traffic Manager
Successful food wholesaler seeks a successful Traffic Manager to be responsible for securing and managing inbound freight for in-house fleet of 350 drivers. Management duties include sales staff, rate coordinator supervisor, and clerical team.
Will have P&L responsibility for a department that makes significant contribution to the company's transportation budget.

Qualification Standards
:
* Candidates must be hands on managers as opposed to email management types.
* Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and strong communications skills are key.
* Prior traffic experience where you were accustomed to managing an aggressive backhaul program is required. This company backhauls a high percentage of their product.
* Prior food industry experience very helpful.
