* Responsibilities include market analysis, strategy development, customer-relationship development, management and mentoring of business development staff, and opportunity-specific capture management, leading to award of major accounts with emphasis on information technology services.
* This position will include customer contact and positioning; teaming interactions; and coordination with technical, business development, and finance and administrative staff within the Operation.
* Demonstrated established customer relationships and successful capture or proposal process execution essential.
* Due to Federal contract regulations, US citizenship is required.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Marketing with experience in associated market areas will also be considered. A Masters degree is preferred.
* Required Skills: A minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development or proposals for DoD and Federal agency customers. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
* Must have a Current DOD Top Secret SI/TK clearance to be eligible for consideration
* Existing relationships or credentials with government customers in the information technology and demonstrated ability to penetrate new markets or leveraging of customer relationships into revenue growth.
* The candidate must be an organized, aggressive, and highly-skilled senior professional with proven success in selling in a highly competitive information technology markets to federal and other public sector clients including DoD with experience and contacts in the intelligence market
* The candidate should have experience with developing and implementing market entry and penetration sales strategies working with major agencies.
* It is preferable that the candidate has held a lead role in the successful development/execution government sector business development program in the Federal/DOD sector.
* Desired Skills: A proven track record of sales in the Federal/DOD information technology services and information technology consulting services industry:
* A proven track record of success in market assessment, target identification, capture management and development of a cohesive, successful marketing plan.
* Experience in selling into DOD/Federal markets.
* The successful personal characteristics should include excellent communication skills, integrity, disciplined and professional presence.
* Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to deal in program management and executive-level transactions at the most senior level both internally and externally.
