Our client specializes in turning their customers business into a wireless paradise. They are one of the leading companies in the Wireless LAN/Networking space. Their products include controllers, access points, and concentrators, as well as operating systems and management software. Revenues exceed 400 million and their customers list includes major names like Google, Yahoo, Microsoft and many of the Fortune 1000 companies. Position is open due to expansion and growth.
Position Description:
They are looking for highly motivated sales professional. Candidate must have experience selling hardware products in the networking and or security space. Must be highly self motivated and demonstrate a proven selling track record in a fast paced high tech company.
The TSM is responsible for generating end user demand with enterprise, educational institutions, and state & local agencies through face to face sales calls as well as building and managing VAR and Strategic partners in the region. Fulfillment of the product will be done primary through channel partners.
This position reports to the Regional Sales Director Specific Duties:* Sells products to new and/or current customers in an assigned region to achieve or exceed assigned quota.
* Contacts prospective customers to determine product needs and performs sales presentations to match company's products and identified needs.
* Remains knowledgeable of our clients products to facilitate sales effort.
* Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required.
* Provides follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with products provided.
* Maintain a 90 day rolling forecast
* Manage all aspects of the evaluation program
* Recruits and strategic partners in their respective region
* Submits Contracts, NDAs and Evaluation Agreements for proper execution
* Develops and manages Partner Business Plan with each partner and conducts quarterly review with management
* Provides continuing education and program development for Partners, example: Lunch & Learn
* Responsible for creating an environment and infrastructure necessary to insure successful Partner development and activity
* Travel required within region to support end user and channel partners
* Identify prospects in region, understand competition in region and general business climate

Education & Sales Experience:* Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in business or sales management; may have post graduate education or training.
