Responsible for analyzing, reporting and developing recommendations on data related to complex and varied operational metrics for commercial and Senior Business. Typically provides technical assistance to lower level staff. Essential duties include but are not limited to: delivers quality analytical support on local provider negotiations and providing strategic guidance on national initiatives; utilize data to build a comprehensive picture of current and proposed reimbursement levels; creates and maintains databases to track operational performance; analyzes data and summarizes performance using summary statistical procedures; develops and analyzes operational performance reports (e.g., for claims data, provider data, utilization data) and provides notations of performance deviations and anomalies; creates and publishes periodic reports, as well as any necessary ad hoc reports. May require taking operational issue and devising best way to develop appropriate diagnostic and/or tracking data that will translate business requirements into usable decision support tools. May make recommendations based upon data analysis. Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills:
BS/BA, or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 3-5 years experience required. Experience with institutional and/or professional provider analytics strongly preferred. Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team. Must display a positive work attitude. Ability to learn new skills and tools in a quick paced environment. Background in Medicare and/or Medicaid reimbursement a plus. Access and Excel required SAS and Visual Basic knowledge preferred NOTE: We currently have two openings for this position which may be located in our Brooklyn and/or Manhattan, NY office locations. Position level will be determined upon candidates' skills, experience and qualifications.
