This position is responsible for the interpretation and data entry of prescriptions. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: enter data of prescription orders. Validate member information on member prescription requests. May stock, dispense or package medication. May contact physician offices for clarification, etc.

Skills:
Requires High School diploma and up to 1 year of pharmacy experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. State Tech-in-Training certificate may be required in applicable state(s). Must obtain State Pharmacy Tech certification within 1 year. Pharmacy Tech Certification strongly preferred. Basic computer and written, oral and interpersonal communications skills required.
