Click Here to Apply OnlineOur client is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our extraordinary marketing team. He/She will play a vital role in the company’s demand generation, database marketing and event planning initiatives for current and new customers. He/She will be hands-on driving the creation, development, implementation and measurement of all new marketing initiatives focused on B2B driven lead generation campaigns, market education and customer community/event management. He/She will work closely with Sales, Channel Management, Product Marketing/Management as well as the Global Marketing team members to develop and measure multiple programs that will differentiate our organization and create preference and loyalty by demonstrating superior value to customers and prospects.
Principle responsibilities include:
Work closely with sales, marketing, channels, product marketing/management and our international teams to grow existing initiatives as well as incorporate new programs that educate prospective customers on our value propositions across both the direct and channel businesses.
Plan, develop and manage the creation and execution of direct mail, online, telesales campaigns (email, webinar, newsletters, banner, etc.) from message through CRM set-up, to response metrics and follow-up campaigns.
Manage all planning, contractual and logistic work associated with the successful execution of the company’s annual user conference and other event marketing (e.g workshops, webinars, etc.); Plan, track and control event metrics, including expenses, attendance, productivity and promotional response.
Conduct analysis on all campaigns to identify program ROI & assess campaign effectiveness by channel, offer type and target segment to continually improve programs.
Work with Technical Marketing Manager for related web site content for campaigns as needed.
Ensure that all campaigns are innovative, compelling and worthwhile - constantly reviewing which methodologies are being used and working productively across groups to analyze and improve.
Ensure utilization of email best practices and compliance around permission-based marketing, privacy, spam regulation (CAN-SPAM) and deliverability.
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in full marketing campaign life-cycle management including managing online and direct marketing programs from concept to ROI analysis.
Minimum of 3 years experience in event planning and meeting management.
Highly motivated, goal and execution oriented, team play focused on delivering qualified opportunities to the Sales and Channel teams.
Demonstrated knowledge of lead generation tools such as CRM database (Salesforce.com), email campaign software, search engine optimization and Microsoft business applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge in marketing 2.0 campaigns including set-up and management of blogs, podcasts, and social media and community a definite plus.
Successful history of cross-departmental project coordination (marketing, creative team, production, etc.) and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
Understanding of email best practices and compliance.
Detail-oriented with strong attention to tactical execution and follow-through.
Strong analytical and writing skills
Creative thinker with high degree of initiative and self-motivation
BA/BS degree preferred.
