Human Resource Assistant
West Asset Management is seeking a Human Resource Assistant to join our team in Texarkana. This in an entry-level Human Resource position and you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of general Human Resources functions. Including screening, directing and answering incoming calls for the department in a professional and courteous manner, reviewing and processing new hire paperwork for accuracy and completeness while ensuring we are compliant with our I-9 and W-4 requirements and prepare and maintain applicant and employee files ensuring employment paperwork is files accurately and timely. Ideal candidates will have solid work history and enjoy performing a variety of administrative tasks. Previous experience using Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is a plus!

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum six months clerical or administrative experience required preferably in human resources
- Basic knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel required
