Then the Engineering Productivity Services team is looking for you! We are looking for a highly skilled and confident Service Operations Engineer for the Operations IT group. The Windows Mobile division develops the latest operating system for the mobile space, as well as provides Services for many groups in the Entertainment & Devices division. The Engineering Productivity Services organization owns a number of labs and has passionate, intellectual people and requires someone that can intelligently manage and drive the Services that we provide for the future of Mobility. Primary Responsibilities include Ensure that all issues are responded to and resolved within our SLA. Ensure that all issues have cause and solution logged appropriately Direct work of up to 6 contingent staff supporting 10 labs in 4 buildings Create issue metrics showing number and type of issues, issue life-cycle and mean-time to resolution. Work closely with customers of the labs. Understand the work they do in order to provide a high level of support. Act as point of escalation to resolve technical issues in the labs. Work closely with the rest of the Ops IT and Services teams for identifying and escalating problems. Qualifications Confident communications and leadership skills Ability to manage several schedule-critical tasks while delivering results and solutions on time Strong problem solving and drive for results Technical knowledge/ability to ramp-up on technology Passionate about continuous improvement in process and services that will have an immediate impact on partners Ability to work in a high risk and reward Operations organization Proven Cross-group collaboration skills required 5+ years experience in a Lab or datacenter environment Virtual Computing (Virtual Server & Hyper - V) knowledge required Working knowledge of Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 Knowledge of Microsoft System Center required Knowledge of SAN technologies, enterprise server class hardware, and basic networking required. ITIL knowledge required, certification a plus Microsoft Certification (MCSE) a plus CEPC and Windows Mobile knowledge a plus Windows Mobile Jobs, WMJOBS
