This position is responsible for driving strategy and requirements for the CA Clarity PPM product for various solution areas (New Product Development (NPD), ePMO, Federal/Public Sector and Professional Services Automation (PSA)). This role is a fully qualified senior product manager who can work independently interfacing with internal and external customers at every level, work across the organization to deliver comprehensive solutions and may provide guidance to less senior Product Managers.
This position acts as a team lead for the following types of product management activities:
Strategy and Planning
• Build, update and communicate the product line vision, strategy and 3-year road map for core stakeholders and for external consumption
•Drive the positioning and interaction of the product within the product portfolio and its integration with other products
Product Development
•Function as the primary SME (subject matter expert) on the product and its target market

Key Requirements:
•Typically 7 or more years in an industry related role
• Will typically have worked in technical support, system administration or product development type roles with exposure to marketing
•3 years of domain knowledge/expertise in New Product Development (NPD) and or Federal/Public Sector is desirable
•Must have experience in designing enterprise applications
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Knowledge and understanding of products, competitive offerings and market drivers
•Creation of quality, easy to understand papers and presentation
•Strong PowerPoint skills
•Proven track record of Product Management success
•Business travel of approximately 50 percent yearly is expected for this position
•Bachelors Degree or global equivalent required in a related field; MBA preferred
