Click Here to Apply OnlineIn this position, you will be responsible for making plans and commitments for multiple product releases, and managing them to meet these commitments. You will also be responsible for coordination, communication and risk management and for serving as the liaison with Product Management, Development, Quality Assurance, Technical Publications, Sustaining, Support, Marketing, Education, Services, etc. to ensure smooth execution and successful rollout of product releases to the market. You will be the key factor in ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, with high quality, and with the desired capabilities.
This position will be responsible for coordination and communication with the Central Program Management office. This position will also need to develop a thorough understanding of the project management tools currently in use at CA and become the local expert on those tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Make and meet commitments for release scope, quality and schedule
• Develop and maintain project plans
• Coordinate the activities of all assigned personnel
• Develop status reports and facilitate status meetings with users and management
• Ensure completeness and quality of all project deliverables
• Manage Change Control process through the life of project
• Manage the project Risk Mitigation process
• Keep overall project costs within budget, and meet the committed deliverables of assigned projects
Minimum Requirements/Skills:
• Typically requires 7 years of professional project management experience in an enterprise software product delivery role
• Experience with managing multiple projects
• Solid understanding of all of the tasks involved in the complete application development process
• Experience in influencing and leading cross-functional teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Business travel of approximately 10% or less yearly is expected for this position
• PMP certification is desirable
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
