May work from any HMC office. Responsible for overall guidance to training and development activities throughout the organizational unit. This position requires a well-seasoned professional who can diagnose organization needs, recommend the appropriate mix and emphasis to improve organization effectiveness, and implement the agreed-on plan.Identifies training needs; determines project costs/benefits. Stays aware of internal and external available programs and faculty. Oversees design and presentation of programs, reviews and evaluates the effectiveness of programs. May personally conduct selected programs.Performs other duties as assigned.


Skills:
BA/BS Degree or equivalent education and experience in preferably in education, communication, business administration or organizational effectiveness. 5-7 years professional and managerial development experience required, at least two of which must be in training is required. Knowledge of instructional design theory and adult learning also required. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and interact with all levels of associates. Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills are essential.Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication, analytical, planning, organizational, and project management skills also needed. A high level of PC capabilities required.
